Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association®
Mission Statement
We are an Association of Combat Veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride motorcycles as a hobby. As a registered 501(c)(19) veterans’ charity, our mission is to support and protect those who have defended our country and our freedoms. Our focus is to provide assistance and help to individual veterans, veteran care facilities, other veteran organizations and registered charities. We sponsor and participate in many veteran-related motorcycle (and other) charity events each year, and as a non-profit organization, donate to various veteran causes.
Our membership is comprised of Full Members (those with verified combat service), Supporter Members (those who have non-combat military service and have a strong dedication to helping veterans), and Auxiliary Members (Spouses of both Full and Support members). We have members from all 50 states and numerous countries abroad, including combat areas.

Commander’s Welcome
As Combat Veterans, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of self-discipline, customs, and traditions of a Military Service Veteran. Being Combat Veterans, we have seen conflicts of all kinds. Amongst us are Veterans who were treated as second-class citizens when they returned to America. For that, we say, “NEVER AGAIN.”
We are dedicated to supporting our Veterans and their families, past, present, and future. We have a mission to continually visit our wounded Brothers and Sisters; we listen to their fears, their needs, and we never gloss over the new way of life upon which they are embarking.
We salute our troops deploying and greet them on their return home. We stand in Honor and Support of families as they lay their Heroes to rest should they pay the ultimate sacrifice. Yes, we are a bunch of Motorcycle-riding Veterans, both young and old, that sit around swapping war stories, but we are also a bunch of Veterans who get down to the business of supporting our fellow Veterans when in need.
It is MY Honor to serve my Chapter and my fellow American Veterans. Welcome home to each and every one of you. It is an honor to call you Brother or Sister!
With the sincerest respect and highest esteem,
Darryl “Big Dog” Gunter
